    ORBEL 32

    ORBEL 32 is the 32nd conference of ORBEL, the Belgian Operational Research (OR) Society, Member of EURO, the association of European OR Societies, and Belgian representative of IFORS (International Federation of OR Societies).
    This year's meeting (ORBEL32) will take place in the city of Liège at HEC Liège-Management School of ULiège, and will be organised by the HEC Liège Centre for Quantitative Methods and Operations Management (QuantOM).

    2017 BIVEC-GIBET Transport Research Days:
    Towards an autonomous and interconnected transport future

    The next BIVEC-GIBET Transport Research Days will take place on Thursday, May 18 and Friday, May 19 2017 in Liège, Belgium, organized by the Center for Transport, Mobility and Logistics, University of Liege. The Transport Research Days offers young and established scholars from the three Benelux-Countries an opportunity to present their research findings to an informed audience of transport researchers. The conference will take place on the HEC Campus.
    On this occasion, Professor Dr. Alan C. McKinnon, currently holder of the BIVEC Transport Chair, will give a public lecture on the "Interaction between climate change mitigation and adaptation in the freight sector", and Professor Dr. Pierre Duysinx, director of the ULg automotive lab, will give a public lecture on electric vehicles.

    IPCO XVIII: 18th Conference on Integer Programming and Combinatorial Optimization

    The IPCO conference is under the auspices of the Mathematical Optimization Society. It is held every year, except for those in which the International Symposium on Mathematical Programming takes place. The conference is a forum for researchers and practitioners working on various aspects of integer programming and combinatorial optimization. The aim is to present recent developments in theory, computation, and applications in these areas. More about IPCO XVIII

    Where: The 18th Conference on Integer Programming and Combinatorial Optimization (IPCO XVIII) will take place from June 1 to June 3, 2016 at the University of Li├Ęge, Belgium.

    MAPSP: 12th Workshop on Models and Algorithms for Planning and Scheduling Problems

    MAPSP is a biennial workshop dedicated to all theoretical and practical aspects of scheduling, planning, and timetabling.
    The conference is supported by KU Leuven, Ghent University, the University of Liege (QuantOM research group), the Interuniversity Attraction Poles Programme initiated by the Belgian Science Policy Office (COMEX project), and the Belgian Society for Operations Research (ORBEL).

    Where: The 12th Workshop on Models and Algorithms for Planning and Scheduling Problems (MAPSP2015) will be organized in the Ardennes (Belgium), in the week June 8 - June 12, 2015. The workshop (and housing) takes place in a domain located along the banks of the river Ourthe, in a small town called La Roche-en-Ardenne.
